Der Artikel geht der Frage nach, ob die Ethik als Theorie des moralischen Handelns der Seelsorge bedarf und welche Aspekte der Seelsorge für sie bedeutsam sein können. Er vertritt die These, dass die seelsorgliche Grundsituation der Selbsterfahrung des Einzelnen vor Gott der Ausgangspunkteiner vom reformatorischen Denken bestimmten Ethik ist. Es wird gezeigt, wie eine interdisziplinär ausgerichtete, pastoralpsychologisch und -soziologisch orientierte Seelsorge den Realitäts- und Praxisbezug der Ethik sowie die Gestaltung der Kommunikation in ethischen Diskursen verbessern kann. The article reflects on the question whether ethics understood as theory of moral acting is in need of pastoral care and counseling and which aspects of pastoral care could be relevant for it. Thethesis is that the self awareness of the individual in front of God as basic situation of pastoral care is also the crucial experience for ethics in a reformed perspective. It is demonstrated how interdisciplinary, pastoralpsychological and -sociological pastoral care and counseling can improve the relation of ethics towards reality and practice as well as the ways of communication in ethical discourses.
