Whoever reflects on the healing of the world will have to reflect on his orher own context. For the country of the Reformation this means, above all, seeing our own context and listening to the cries of the world. Whoever speaks about healing has to look at the wounds of the world, at the wounds of God. While reflecting on healing, we must be open for the connection of body and soul, for old and new insights, for a holistic approach. As a Lutheran community, we can offer the Eucharist as a contribution to communion, as a central event between God and humankind and between us as persons. From the Eucharist we gain strength to commit ourselves to an alternative society in a world of globalisation.
