Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is a web service that provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud. To run fault-tolerant, highly available applications on EC2, load balancing is critical. That way if one instance fails, service isn't interrupted. Elastic Load Balancing is the tool Amazon provides to manage your EC2 environment and distribute incoming traffic to multiple targets. This course provides intermediate training developers need to configure Elastic Load Balancing, including the three major types: classic load balancers, application load balancers, and network load balancers. Instructor Shyam Raj shows how to add instances as your computing requirements change, configure security, set up virtual Windows and Linux servers, and configure features such as sticky sessions and health checks.
