The CanMEDS Tools Guide provides ready-to-use resources that have a new and purposeful emphasis on learning, teaching, assessing, and providing feedback in the workplace. This resource was designed for the busy physician who will pick and choose relevant content on a just-in-time basis.This book dedicates a chapter to each of the seven CanMEDS Roles. If you like you can read it from cover to cover, but we envision that most of you will refer to this guide on an as needed basis (i.e. when you're developing your teaching and assessment plans or when you have a particular problem or question that requires a practical answer). We also hope that the simplicity of the examples and templates will encourage you to create your own tools that you can share with your colleagues.
