Sustainability demands treating "Naturkapital", "Humankapital" and "Sachkapital" as an indissoluble unity, the fundamental layer of which is the total of mens action leading beliefes concerning not only the innerwordly future but the future of the world as well. Doctrine and preaching of the church contribute to the culture of sustainability by communicating a view on world and life, that inspires forms of conduct strengthening sustainability. The church may recommend relevant actions of NGOs, but is no NGO and not allowed to act as such.
