Die zeittheoretische Deutung von Erwachsenenbildung bezieht die Integrationsleistung des Weiterbildungssystems einer Gesellschaft auf den wachsenden Synchronisationsbedarf zwischen differenten Temporalstrukturen. Das Zusammenspiel zwischen den wechselnden Weiterbildungsangeboten und variantenreichen Formen der Bildungsaneignung strukturiert sich als temporales Netzwerk lose verkoppelter Ereignisse und Eigenzeiten. Eine systematische Temporalanalyse des Weiterbildungssystems verlangt daher die Klärung zentraler Kategorien wie Ereignis, Eigenzeit und Synchronisation.
The time-focussed theoretical interpretation of adult education relates the integrative achievement of a society's System of further education to the growing need for synchronization between differing temporal structures. The interplay of the changing offers of further education and the many variants of acquiring education takes the form of a temporal network of loosely connected events and personal temporal structures. A systematic temporal analysis of the system of further education thus presupposes the clarification of crucial categories such as event, personal temporal structure, and synchronization.
