Vor dem Hintergrund des wissenschaftlichen Diskurses über und der praktischen Entwicklung von Bildungsstandards wird untersucht, ob und in welcher Form neuere Lehrpläne für das Aufgabengebiet interkulturelle Bildung kompetenzorientierte Standards enthalten. Dabei werden Untersuchungen der Autorin und des Autors, deren Ergebnisse vor fünf Jahren vorgelegt wurden, mit Blick auf die Bundesländer Bayern, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und Berlin fortgesetzt. Das Ergebnis der Studie ist widersprüchlich: Die Formulierung von Standards führt nicht zwangsläufig zur Berücksichtigung interkultureller Aspekte. Werden aber interkulturelle Kompetenzmodelle ausgearbeitet, geht von ihnen eine dynamische Wirkung auf fachbezogene Bildungspläne mit entsprechenden Standards aus. So können abschließend einige Gelingensbedingungen für die Etablierung interkultureller Bildung in Lehrplänen benannt werden.
Against the background of the scientific discourse on educational standards and of their practical development, the article examines whether and in which form new curricula for the field of intercultural education contain competence-oriented standards. Studies carried out by the two authors, the results of which were presented five years ago, are continued with a focus on Bavaria, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and Berlin. The results of the study are contradictory: the formulation of standards does not necessarily lead to the consideration of intercultural aspects. If, however, intercultural competence models are developed, these exert a dynamic influence on subject-related educational plans with corresponding standards. Thus, in a final part, some of the requirements for a successful establishment of intercultural education in curricula can be sketched.
