According to the discovery made by Luther during the Reformation, divine justice consists of God's actions, which constitute the communion between God and man, as well as his effect on man, the result of which is man's faith, the communion between man and God. This understanding of justice, inspired by the bible, contains practicable answers to the questions in which Luther's search for a merciful God is alive today: the question concerning a successful life and the question of the theodicy. It is important to regain the lost connection between these two questions.
