Neu Reformprozesse in der Evangelisch-methodistischen Kirche
Zeitschriftenartikel

This study shows to which degree the reform processes within the United Methodist Church in Germany are determined by their ecclesiological and structural characteristics. The so-called process of regionalisation within the Southern German Annual Conference had been initiated by the church board to reduce the employment costs by forming regional alliances. It is taken as an example to illustrate the need of dovetailing this reform program with the pastoral work in the local parishes in a dialogical process in order to prevent the diverse reform measures from mutually blockading and neutralizing.
