Since the Corona pandemic and the Russian war of aggression on Ukraine, the logic of globalisation has increasingly been called into question: Concepts called "reshoring", "backshoring" or "peaceshoring" want to shift back global value chains for the sake of comprehensive security. This article examines this phenomenon of increasing de-globalisation and evaluates the underlying model of comprehensive securitisation from a normative point of view. The Lord 's Prayer is interpreted from a socio-ethical perspective: It reflects the security of liberated, caring and resilient people. Based on such an understanding of human security, the role of theology and the churches is described as a stimulating factor in the discourse on a readjustment of globalisation in times of crisis, but not as an amplifier in the de-globalisation discourse.
