Die Corona-Krise hat einiges ins Stocken und anderes in Bewegung gebracht. Was für die Einzelnen eine Bedrohung darstellt, kann für Kollektive eine Chance der Bewährung sein. Auf dem Hintergrund der Unterscheidung von Körper und Leib wird die These entfaltet, dass die Kirche, die Leib Christi ist, sich als eine Gemeinschaft der Körper bewähren wird.
The corona crisis has brought some things to a standstill and set others in motion; what can pose a threat for an individual, might present a survival opportunity for a collective. Against the background of the distinction in German between "Leib" and "Körper" (roughly, an individual's personal, living body and an individual's material, lived body), the article argues that the church which is the "Leib" of Christ will preserve itself as a community of "Körper" of Christ.
