Die Analyse von Daten der Netzwerkstruktur von Kirchengemeinden lässt informelles Lernen als Kulturaustausch verstehen und die Bedeutung von Ehrenamtlichen erkennen. Sie wird daraufhin befragt, was sie zur Kirchentheorie von Kirche als Hybrid der Sozialformen und Idealbilder der Kirche als aktive Gruppe, moderne Nonprofit-Organisation und Institution Volkskirche beiträgt.
The analysis of data concerning the network structure of a local congregation shows ways that informal learning can be understood as a form of cultural exchange and shows the important role of church volunteers in this process. The article examines what contribution such network data can make to a theory of church as a hybrid of social forms and thereby to idealized conceptions of church as a conglomerate of active groups, a modern nonprofit organization and a community institution.
