The author stresses the point that evangelical (protestant) theology did not yet succeed until today in introducing the theology of Sabbath of the Old Testament in the daily practice of church and business of diaconal services. He pleads for the acknowledgement of time as a theological category and a general social-ethical basis of church and diaconal life. This has to be widely introduced into the whole social life as far as it is constitutionally and legally possible. This widening of the field of biblical time logic is far more than thinking about religious and social dimensions of Sunday.
