A lot of successful side hustles capitalize on the things you already know. The entrepreneur highlighted in this course found a way to capitalize on the people he already knew. Author and entrepreneur Chris Guillebeau shares the story of salesman Jeffrey Nash who created a baby harness that helps parents teach their children to walk. Jeffrey had no previous experience with inventing or manufacturing, but he knew people who did. He relied on tailors and designers he knew to help make a prototype. Jeffrey focused on "mom bloggers" when launching his website and marketing campaign, a natural fit for the product. Networking and relationships helped Jeffrey find a manufacturer and patent his product, as well. After sharing Jeffrey's story, Chris poses the question: who do you know that can help with your ideas? Note: This course was created by Chris Guillebeau. We are pleased to host this training in our library.
